I receive a call from the leasing office in the apartment complex where I live and the manager said I have to sign a month to month lease if I want to continue leaving here, I have been leaving here since 2003 and my original leasing agreement has been expired for more than 3 years and the manager now wants me to sign a new one. Most rental agreements I've seen automatically convert to month-to-month agreements at the end of the initial lease term. Four years is a long time and the terms of the rental agreement have probably been updated.
