Can you break a rental lease in less than a month without fees?

I recently moved into an apartment complex about three weeks ago. I found out that I made the wrong move and want out. Since being here I don't feel safe at all. I even seen a person walking through the complex and they were carrying a weapon. Thats when I decided I have to get out of here. I know I can break a lease with fees that I have to pay which is usaully a percentage of the rent. But is there any way I can get out without owing anything? Can you break a rental lease in less than a month without fees?
No, you would be obligated to pay the balance due under the terms of the lease. Can you break a rental lease in less than a month without fees?
No. You are legally obligated for the full duration of the lease or until a new tenant is found. Not ';feeling'; safe is NOT a legal reason to terminate your contract.

BTW...If you see a person carrying a weapon, you should call the police.
No! You cannot break a lease without fees, Period. A lease is legally binding the minute you sign it. There is no cooling off period with leases. Landlords are not responsible for crime in the area, so that person does not give you legal grounds to break the lease.
No. You will need to pay whatever fees the management deems appropriate for an early lease termination. Your fears do not count as any valid reason to leave.
