If i signed a lease and gave it to my landlord for his signature about 4 days ago. can I back out of the deal before he gives me the copy of the lease with his signature. if I back out now can he claim any damages againt me.Rental lease?
not if he has your signature it's binding read the fine printRental lease?
I would assume he has already signed the lease. Weren't you also required to turn over a check for your first months', last month's rent and security deposit? That pretty much seals the deal right there.
That said, if some legitimate reason came up that you have to back out, talk to the landlord. If you haven't moved in yet, he might be willing to let you go based on your situation. (note: deciding at the last minute you don't like the color of the walls is not considered a legitimate reason to back out...)
Depends on the landlord and the lease agreement. Most leases contain default policies and what will happen if the person does not adhere to the lease. By signing the lease you are bound unless the landlord wants to be nice to you and let you off.
