Can you legally break a rental lease?

i live in sparks nevada and i am in a lease on the house i live in until feb. 09. i have decided that i want to move to ohio but i want to go asap ...not wait til next spring. how can i get out of this lease ...legally?...i dont want to lie to him.Can you legally break a rental lease?
In this case, it is best to just sit down with your landlord and be honest about the situation. Many times they will be willing to work with you if you are able to pay some sort of termination fee.

But if you sneak out in the middle of the night i have to take you to court to be allowed to enter my own property. Your early departure is costing me time and money. Are you willing to pay anything to break the lease? I don't want an unhappy tenant and i don't want a vacant house. /
