How do i get my rental lease renewed?

i've done alot of work to this place just to make it liveable,when iasked my landloard to renew my lease he said don't worrie about it we're fine you can live here as long as you like.when i asked how do i know you wont raise my rent,he said i would'nt do that don't worrie. i don't trust him at all,and am tired of worrieing about, so what can i do to insure what he says is trueHow do i get my rental lease renewed?
In a very friendly manner Ask him to do an endorsement, for good order sake, on the reverse side of the existing lease deed that with the same terms and conditions mentioned overleaf, this lease contract is renewed for a further period of _______ years. Leases are a two way street. He can't predict that his expenses won't go way up where he has to raise the rent, and you probably can't guarantee something won't happen to make you want to or have to move.





Rents should go up every year...al of the landlords expenses go up every year, so if he is not raising rents periodically he's a fool. Enjoy it while you can I say.
Nothing. You can not force him into a lease with you. Without a lease he can give you 30 days notice to vacate and raise your rent as high as he likes.





Tell him you insist on a lease or you will move out.
