Can I break my rental lease LV NV I had a co signer whose name is on the lease but never signed it anywhere.?

On the section where it tells of the consequences of breaking the lease and the amount penalized I did not initial the box next to that section. The contract is valid, but you might have some negotiating power. Point out those details to the landlord and say you need to break your lease and want to know what kind of deal you can negotiate to break it on friendly terms. Never break a lease on unfriendly terms, because it can come back to haunt you year after year, when people call your landlord for a reference or whatever. Landlords understand, because lots of people do it. Just doing it on friendly terms will make a huge difference, because most landlords are used to deadbeat tenants who always seem to want to get revenge on the landlord for every little problem. Im in vegas as well and if you did not initial or sign thats fault business on managements part and should not be penalized for that, and if you are i would get a lawyer becuz management had not business accepting that without signatures and initials, my first apt out here when my lease was up they typed up another one for me but i never went in to sign it, when i was ready to move i did just that, becuz no contract was signed i just gave thirty day notice and becuz i was such a good tenant they told me if i wanted to come back or needed anything to let them know, so your contract doesnt sound valid good luck to you...smiles
