Does rental lease in the name of someone whom lives outside of the US guarantee its entry in the country?

The lease is welcome to come in. The person who signed it will have to qualify on his own. Try to think this through logically: If someone wanted to hire a bunch of people who would now be illegals, all he would have to do is have them sign leases and away we go. Sorry, dumb idea.
