There is usually break lease options in your lease agreement you signed prior to moving in. Ours is 2 months rent up front plus a $250 break lease fee out of your deposit. And you never hear from us again.





Or you could try to list your actual apartment on say a Craig鈥檚 list and show it and try to rent it for immediate occupancy (always remember they need time to turn) .





Then we waive the $250 fee and they just oay the rent until the next person moves it. WHich might be 2-4 weeks.



Explain it to your landlord. If your apartment is too small to accommodate this many people I'm sure they will let you out of the lease. Your extended family will be using up his resources quickly (ruined carpet, water, etc) so it would be in his best interest to get all of you out.
Read your lease, there is usually a ';buy out'; option. If you are on a month to month lease, just give a 30 day written notice.
You move out but continue to pay the rent until either a replacement tenant is found or your lease expires.
