Depends how you break up. If she sleeps around you have the right to kick her out on the street. My girlfriend and I entered into a rental lease agreement who should be able to keep the home due to a breakup
Well legally, if it's both of your names on the lease agreement then you're both entitled to it.
If it's only one of your names, then you have your answer.
If you both can be civilised about it, then why not figure out who needs it most, which one of you has somewhere they can move out to without it being a huge inconvenience.
If you can't be civilised about it you should see who has put more into the home and who it means most too.
Sorry i can't be much help.

If both names are on the lease, that means that you are both legally responsible for the fees and upkeep. You could approach the management with an explanation of your case. They may offer to dissolve the lease for the both of you and allow you to get separate apts, but they are not obligated to do so. Or, you could make her an offer of her liking to coax her into leaving.
If neither approach works, you may be stuck.
The one that can afford it alone. Someone will obviously have to move and there is no correct answer. You both are named on the lease, so you are both responsible to pay the rent. Hope you learned a lesson....never co-own anything unless you are married and even that doesn't prevent problems.
THE RIGHT THING TO DO, is TO SIT DOWN AND TALK IT OVER AS GROWN UP,S. AND WHO EVER CAN AFFORD IT THE BEST, TALK IT OUT, MAKING AN ARGUMENT OUT OF IT ONLY MAKE MORE PROBLEMS FOR BOTH YOU, IF THERE IS A LEASE, 1 OF YOU SHOULD FOLLOW THRU WITH IT, GOOD LUCK, FOR BOTH OF YOU,
well you could just work it out... who deserves the house more... how easy it would be for the other to move out... etc.
Maybe who pays more of what etc.
Or who would be able to finance the home by themselve should get it... or buy the other person out
You both are responsible for that lease, regardless if your together or not.
If your the one to leave better break that lease, bcuz if you don't you will still have to pay.
Have you watch Judge Judy lately!
Life is too short to waste precious time %26amp; energy, arguing over four walls, kitchen appliances and some furniture.
Catch and release!
if it isn't a ';purchase'; whomever wants to stay there and take on the financial responsibility.
It depends on the agreement and whether or not it is in writing.
move out,
move on
leave,
walk away.
flee
abscond
depart
bolt
evacuate
run off
be gone.
save yourself.
who pays the bills and keeps it clean and takes care of it thats who should get it.
whoever pays more of the bills, and take care of it more.
just leave it doesntmatter any more
Flip a coin.
It doesn't matter to the landlord, if the rent isn't paid he'll sue both of you.
